Those of us willing to inject our gases into our gasoline let's talk. I have been thinking of the posiblity of using a small diapham pump that would be much like a regular fuel pump but pump gases. This pump might produce enough pressure to over come a few trade off's. Since hydroxy production decreases with a greater pressure than say 10-12psi, maybe this pump could offer better miliage.
Some of us have done the brute force bit and want to up efficiency some. I do not know where one can get their hands on a very small pump like this. Most diapham pumps I have seen max out at 50psi however large or small.
I think that these mixing chambers for gasoline/hydroxy work off of orfices at higher injection pressures as the large containers drop flow rate for a few minutes. I am thinking this will work to keep the 200% cell rate free of over pressures. Boosters making 5-10 LPM would be more than a hand full of plates in series.
Most boosters make about 1/2 LPM to 1 1/2 LPM from what I have read.
A booster like this hooked up to a resonant arrangement would make 25-50 LPM. A car runs on half that.Statistics: Posted by ElectroGasMan — Mon Nov 13, 2006 2:09 pm
