Project Description:
I've built the basic "Bob Boyce" welder, 120 plates because thats what was easiest with the metric sheets (2.5m x 1.25m), with a bit left over for a smaller 7 cell in the future if all works out.

It will be running straight off the mains (240V AC) with a 50A bridge rectifier, seems to be 215V DC after the rectifier which equates to roughly 1.8V per cell.
