Project Description:
My name is William (Bill).  For the last 30-40 years I have been earning my dailey bread working with my mind and my hands, mostly in heavey industrial maintenance.  (ie) mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pnuematic and buildings and grounds.

I am currently on medical diability (cardial) and have lots of time.  What I lack is space.  My home is a very small Cape Cod style house, sans Basement, sans attic and sans garage, and to top it all off my wife (she comes armed and dangeous) absolutely refuses to let me blow up the kitchen. (so,what's a guy to do?)

At best, I can skulk around when ever she's out of town. (her job requires some travel. lucky me. LOL)

So bare with me, as this may take quite some time.

The project(s) described here is/are part of a lager project that does not fit within the overall scope of topics on this web site. Hence I will limit my postings to fit within the scope of this web site.

In The Beginning

The whole of my interests in on demand hydrogen/oxygen production stems from the desire to engage in a "Master" project, the design and creation of a modified antique replica of an 1800's horseless carriage.  At first, the carriage will be powered by a lawn mower/tractor size internal combustion engine (ICE).  The engine will be fueled by a multi fueled Propane/Hydrogen or Propane/Hydro_Oxy on demand system.  Then, at a later date, I will construct an opposed cylinder very lean burn (VLB) engine.  Having no workshop what so ever, the last phase of my “Master” project is going to be quite interesting to say the least.

I have been investigating the concept for a few years now, magazines, books, papers, and patent applications and of course, the Internet.  Chris’ site is one of the few that really encouraged me and showed me that this REALLY is a possibility.  Although my process for hydrogen production will differ from that of Chris’ I still give him a great deal of credit for encouragement and ideas.

As Chris has stated, many times in the past and no doubt will continue to do so in the future, this is dangerous stuff we are messin’ with.  So, take your time, DO YOUR HOMEWORK, and be safe at all times.
