Project Description:
though making a terrible series cell it was more suited to a parrallel set up. the large surface area of the serpentine was restricted by the thin wall thickness dia 6mm x 0.5mm wall. the electrical resistance was much improved when the tubes were filled with electrolyte making them more conductive. conclusion was that if the tube was threaded with a copper core before bending the high electrical resistance from the stainless steel would only be from its 0.5mm wall and not from the current being forced to travel along its length.
