cell driver.....12DCV in, 7 amps in (approx), 0-4 DCV output, 40 amps stable. four small squirrel cage fans blowing on the converter to keep it cool.

another shot of the control box. 12 V 20 A capable guarded switch. again, with it being a one-wire setup, the little green lights cant work without a wire going to ground.  so i just joke and say they represent "green power" haha. the fuse holder is 15A capable with a 15A power fuse in it. this is my "emergency backup kill" setup. output to this goes into cell driver.

case shown with cell inside.  as u can see, theres a hole drilled and the output tube comes straight up. the one terminal has two lugs on it cause its a common ground.

0-25 amp meter. soon to be replaced with a 0-40 amp meter.

okay.... the clear container is just in case the cell cracks, i dont want ultra strong distilled and KOH spilling all over my benz's interior.   the ammeter isnt mounted in the case like it will be since it doesnt go high enough (40 amps). the cell driver is to the left in with the three wires coming out of it.  the little guarded switch is a handheld controller that can be easily accessed since theres extra wire. thats the main safety switch...the cell is controlled to ignition hot, but i can manually shut it off if i want to.  the two little green lights dont work, i was going to make two-wire setup and that would've allowed it but, now i just joke and say its "green power" haha.
