Project Description:
I started another version of my electrolyser, except this time, I figured that I'd use stainless steel shim stock, just as Aspectus has posted.

I cut it into small rectangles, and then Kevinsatterfield posted about his weatherstripping idea.  So I moved onto v3.

This is a little jig that I made so I could get consistant spacing on my little stainless rectangles.

Another jig picture.

The shim stock laid out, with the little rectangles.  I abandoned the jig because of how quickly the cutoff disks "eroded away".  I think if I had any of the fibreglass reinforced ones, it would've worked out much better.

To cut 15 or 16 plates, this is how many disks I went through (and don't forget about those that bounced harmlessly off my safety goggles.

This is the end of this project.  I am unsure if I'll return to it.
I ended up trying out a series cell design, and think I'll stick with that... For now.
