!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This curcuit can be LETHAL !!!
Please be careful, and better skip this one if you do not have enough experience in electronics !!!
HIGH VOLTAGE is on TRIAC and it's HEAT SINK !!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With this SCH you can switch on and off the primary current of transformer (220V !!!) using just +5V DC ( even directly from microprocesor )
This SCH is tested with EI transformer core and thoroid core, working in both cases.
The transformers were about cca 100W (150W max)
Just to mention, the thoroid transformers have a higher start up current than EI core transformers  and will make a larger stress on Triac.

When you look on DATASHEET of any Triac bear this in mind....
The triac will not work well if you mix up  the legs A1 and A2
On A1 you must always put the consumer, and
on A2 you must always put the supply

So in this schematic on 2P you put A2 , and on 1R you put the A1 leg of triac
If you look for Datasheet of TIC 246M you can find legs A1,A2,Gate (when you look at triac in that way that you can read normaly the letters for the type of triac)

I have not used this SCH on larger consumers than mentioned above
