I'm cutting my blower pipe on an angle so that it matches the lower end of the furnace. I got this tip from one of Lionel's pages. I hope it works well :)

Good god this sucks! Hacking this baby off was nasty ... ouch my arm.

Finally done. My wife took like 5 pictures of me doing it, but I figured why bore you with my pain :)

Poof... finished. Gotta love the internet.

Cutting the hole in the bucket here. I had to ensure that it will be at the right height by measuring and a bit of fudging (guessing). I want a tiny bit of an upward angle on my air pipe. I think it will help to swirl the air better. Perhaps not but it will only be a slight upward angle at most.

Little bit of the ole' Duct Tape and presto! I'm ready ...oh crap wait! I have to make the lid!
