Going up!

I hope this works!

Holy Crap! No one mentioned anything about fire! -This foam stuff was supposed to be "The Best!" -Well either I did something very wrong, or I didn't have enough information. Fire was definitely a result of the pour into the foam. I stopped because I was worried.

-------------------

Now that I have had a lot more discussions with people doing this Lost Foam method, I have learned that there is usually always a fire, resulting from the foam being consumed. This is to be expected so be ready for it if you do Lost Foam castings. The real trick is to have a very large sprue so that you can continue pouring right through the fire. If you stop or hesitate you will ruin your casting, as I did.

I poured off the rest as ingots because I had no other items to cast :(

Just a smoking little hole now ...wow that was crazy.
