This was just one of the ideas that I had for making an easy generator template. I had the idea to use the wood and large bolts through the coils. I thought this would make it quick and easy to change things and test as I went along. Unfortunately, wood is much too soft and I was getting some horrible problems when I put the powerful NiB magnets into this thing.


As stated above, these are some pictures of the rotors, made of wood. -Thanks Dad for the very nice job on them. But they just were not rigid enough, they kept pulling right against the coils when I got a smaller airgap. Oh well, we have to try many things before we find what works... right?
