Project Description:
After my first failure with the metals reacting to the lye, and halfway through my second unit, I decided to go a different route and try a series cell design.

It wasn't until Kevensatterfield posted about the weatherstripping that I decided to do this, so thanks Kevin!

Also a big thanks to Chris for the use of this site, and all of the folk out there discussing things on a daily basis -- It makes for interesting reading.

I have run this electrolyser a few different times, and have performed some measurements.  I will include these in my picture descriptions as I go along.  I hope to build another couple of units in different configurations to try and get as much experience and exposure as I can to this.  As I do, I will continue to post my results.

Next test.  I ended up stopping this test.  I was using copper wires to attach to the plates.  The mist that is generated during this process must have sodium hydroxide in it, as the copper wires were blackened a few days after their first use.

I got a maximum of 1.94A and 59 bubbles per minute with this test.

Someone became a little suspicious of my testing.
