Got the flange cleaned up, so hopefully I can get the other flange to mate right.


Starting to do the fitment for the upper flange now. I had to be more precise with the top so that the top sheet metal would fit on it.


I recruited some help, lol. Still not sure what he tried to eat, lol.


Think I got most of the pieces ready to start tacking together now. I just hope that the top flange will take the shape, or rather MIS-shape, of the bottom one since I didn't pay enough attention while tacking it together.


Better view from the top so you can see what the clearance will be above the plates.
