Project Description:
building a system to generate dc/ac power using the exhaust energy from am internal combustion engine.the object of this project is twofold-1 a real working power producer with no parasitic drain on the engine.two a system anyone can build in theri garage/workshop.

just received the parts & plans for the GREEN STEAM ENGINE. this unusual little steam engine produces 7-10 hp very effeciently. also very cheap to build. this guy (green) got a well deserved patent on it.i will use it for testing out the system. as long as the exchanger produces the steam i,ll be able to use this engine to run a generator.dc-ac-alternator- single phase-3 phase?? lots of different possibilites.please feel free to make any suggestions.this project is not to benefit just me.if it works it will benefit everyone.i know this seems like just dry old engineering, but progress usually comes in small pieces.i personally dream of the day when the oil companies are gone. it will take a lot to do that. if anyone really looks they will see that there is enough oil in untapped reserves to continue at the present rate of consunption for decades. and oil shale can power us for a couple centries more.so i,m more than happy to make any progress against them.one consumer at a time.have a great day all        bobbyr
