Got two halves of the flange welded together, and now I'm trying to get them tacked into place on the tank.

Here is a sizer reference for you and for me, lol. I swear I didn't know that I could fit two gallon jugs in the tank before I started on this. Course this also means that my electrolyte solution is going to be probably pretty close to 3 to 3.5 gallons.

Here is a pic to give you an idea how far out of the top they come out...not far at all.

Everything is finally tacked together now, only thing that doesn't make me happy is that the flange isn't perfectly flat. That really sucks, but now I guess I'll have to clamp the two flanges together now so that I know that I have a good mating surface for sealing. Oh well, this is definitely a learning expierence.

Got everything welded together now, don't have too much to clean up this time. Looks like I'm getting better with this TIG, lol.
