Well we did survive Hurrican Rita. The 21 hour drive 285 mile drive was an experience I believe was worse than the hurricane. I learned a lot about myself.

All was well at my house just a lot of yard clean up from the wind.

I finally received the continunity and ph tester I needed to duplicate my test. I also had to order a ph probe and solutions to calibrate my meters.  I bought 2 of these meters on ebay for 104.00 vrs 500.00 each.  I can now mix the potasium hydroxide ( KOH ) solution, I bought a month ago, and experiment using different amounts of KOH and water.
