Getting ready for my 2nd night pour. I am still just doing ingots, trying to get used to my equipment and preparing myself for the real pours I plan on doing very soon.

Yes 10psi seems to have worked a LOT better tonight. Also, I did not remove the lid until the end. That kept the heat inside of the furnace much better than last night.

Looks like my aim has improved considerably. I am also holding the weight in my other hand this time. I like this angle better than last night.

Look at those perfect ingots gleam! -Whomever said this is what it's all about... you were definitely right!

Hmmm I have to get another ingot tray. The 2 that I have are perfect, but I would like to avoid having to use the sand to make my last ingot. I have a really huge crucible so it is important to have plenty of spots to pour off your entire melt, in the event something goes wrong with your casting attempt. From what I understand, leaving the metal in the crucible would be a very bad thing. It could crack the crucible when it starts to heat up from solid form.
