Here I soldered the cables into place on the lugs that I had held in place by the assembly. I tried using a butane torch to heat up the terminal lug and the cable, but only succeeded in burning the insulation off. I finally gave up and brought out my really hot torch, my MAPP gas one and it did VERY nicely. Of course the heat of the cable loosed up the insulation on the other one, but that's better than a crispy cover, lol.

I kinda figured that I wanted the cable ends covered and protected. My only concern is that the electrolyte will eat the copper and everything else that isn't stainless steel. If it does, then I'll have to redo most of this assembly.

Everything is in place now, only thing missing is water and the top. Plexiglass is in place to insulate the SS shell from the plates, so they don't short.

This is the weight of the entire assembly, with water. The only things missing are a couple bolts for the lid, 4 washers, and the KOH/NaOH. The weight without the water was 36.5lbs.

This is to show you how cold it is outside, since I just brought this in to weight it everything is to the tempurature that I'm about to test this at OUTSIDE, lol. Safety first, lol.
