Project Description:
This is the very first real Electrolyser I ever made. After reading up on Chris's projects, i thought I had a good Electrolyser to start. I was wrong. Every day, something new went wrong with it. And, just when i thought i would have it sealed up, when I put the slightest pressure on it, it just went 'pop' and then all the water inside poured out. Oh well. These are just some pictures of what it looks like. I have completely given up on this design for now. Maybe in the future, when I have a lot of time on my hands, i will come back to it and try to fix it.

This is the buissiness end of the cell. It is 1 inch schedule 40 PVC. I have a cap on the end that I can screw off. Also, I have a saddle valve on top. I found that this is a very convienient way to get the gas out of the cell. All you do is slide it on, screw it tight, and then pop your hose into the compression fitting and your all set.

This is an in-line valve that I bought from Lowes. It was supposed to be at least water-tight, and maybe air-tight. Well, so much for that. It wasn't even  close to being watertight. The water just poured out of it. =[

This is the end with the cap screwed off.
