And here it is the finished product. Let's go test this baby out!


I am performing some minor repairs on the furnace since it was used as a charcoal furnace. I am re-aligning the tuyere and filling in the runoff trays, they are a pain.


Done ...now for the test run! This damn thing just won't burn right ...not at all. I have tried everything. After about 1 hour of messing with it and trying numerous things, I decided to make a flare and some vent covers.


There it is burning but it does not seem powerful enough to do much good?


See the tiny little flame in there. That's wide open. I should have realized the problem... but it's my first gas burner and no one really specifically said something that would have told me what was wrong here.
