More shots of the very long reach of the flame

Ready, Aim, FIRE!

I took the torch off and decided to do some electronic ignition straight off of the barbed tip. I was in the mood to find out what happened when the explosion made it inside the bubbler, but I wanted to be back a safe distance.

I actually managed to capture a bad picture of the flame flash right as I ignited the hydrogen. The entire bottle lurched and sort of jumped off of the ground. Water shot straight up to the ceiling, but the bubbler performed its duty perfectly. It prevented the flame from reaching my electrolyzer... that's the important part.

You can see the faint orange stuff right around the bubbler top. Sorry for the crappy shot of the bang!

Almost an identical picture but in here you only see the little spark from the peizo ignitor.

Daddy what are you doing with that balloon? Can I play too!?
