Here you can see the bottom side of the connections. The bolts that I used were 3/8-16 one was 3/4in long and the other is 1 1/2in long I think, maybe 1 1/4in. The long bolt was dropped through the top with the grommet in place. There is a washer on the top side and on the bottom side of the sheet metal, with the grommet being crushed in-between. Like I said, I'm not happy with this design, but it's the best I have so far.

Here I put in the distilled water and showed the level where just over two gallons came to. I had about 1/2in of rainwater in the bottom, so it brought it just above the level of the cell.

Here is the first run off the solar battery. Not nearly as much production as I was expecting, however this is still good since there is no electrolyte in it at all right now.

Just wanted to show what the incoming voltage is off the battery. Yeah I know that it is not effecient, but I didn't have any more plates to put in as of right now.

I tried to get a reading for amps, but somethings not working right here and I'm not sure. I did put it on DC A and it still read nothing. I put the meter in series to the cell and the cell stoped working, so there's obviously something wrong with the multimeter setup.
