Can anyone tell me for how long and how many amps to condition these 25 plates at?

I have a variac that I can use to do that, but it only goes up to 1.8A so I'm hoping that will be enough for the 25 plates. I'm figuring on setting it up to condition for the rest of the time while I'm waiting for the money to finish the project. At least that way I won't lose time and patience trying to get the conditioning done. I won't be tempted to stop it and just put it in the car either.

Anyone have an idea how many amps it will take to condition these plates?

I'll fix up a 5% solution of NaOH and run that for a while and see how much junk shows up, which I'm quite sure will be a ton. I'll have a filter inline so that I can hopefully keep the cell going without having to keep dumping it while it's running while I get it cleansed.

Big L I wish I could tell you something for sure .... but I think if you try to break em in with 1.87 amps your gonna get some slime on your electrodes..... will be interesting to here how that does .I'd think I would break em in with a bit higher amperage than wat I was gonna run em at long term..... just my thoughts o buddy..... keep at it Bro.
