Aloha SamT,
You said " I've seen a few say that the compression stroke is not needed, i would care to argue!"
You are likely experienced with liquid fuels. If you put a match to gas or diesel, would it explode?
If you put a match to hydroxy bubbles coming to the top of the water in an electrolizer, would it ignite to a flame, like gas or diesel?
It ignites to a visually flameless, extremely rapid, powerful (for it's volume) explosion.
Please explain to us why you need to compress hydroxy gas.

Thanks for the info SamT I wanted to do this to a little go-kart engine. You defiantly want a compression stroke. This gives you less wasted heat energy and force on the sides of the cylinder walls. Although I have read in a few places that pure hydroxy will implode instead of explode. Any one know if this is true? I haven’t heard anywhere that you don’t need the compression stroke but I have heard about getting rid of the waste spark on the small engines.
