Soudium Acetate

Has anyone used this stuff before as an electrolyte... wul dlike to hear others results... is it a mistake or a favorable solution?

From some research I've done and my own personal experimenting, I am encouraged by the use of sodium acetate as an electrolyte. The burn rate seems slower than that of HOH and what I found was this:
"In the electrolysis of a concentrated solution of sodium acetate, hydrogen is evolved at the cathode and a mixture of ethane and carbon dioxide at the anode..."
So we get not only hydrogen but ethane gas? Sounds like this might be very promissing, especially for a diesel. Now if I could just get some methane and carbon monoxide I'd be a happy camper
... Any ideas?
