Project Description:
07/01/06
As for the results :

For now, the tension applied is approx. 10 V.
I stay between 20 and 30A.
I need to lower the tension around 2V. The 10V make the cell go HOT, which creates steam, and probably dilutes my gas output.
Therefore I see no big difference in power or gas consumption.

I plan on building Bob Boyce's PWM or starting by using the one from http://www.electronic-light.com/advan.html.

Another plan would be to build Chris's v5, and install as many as I can fit under my hood connected in series.

I'm just starting to understand the concept of series cell (isolated from each other) VS one large cell with multiple plates all in the same container/water (that's what I have).

I still have plenty of reading to do :-)

I also plan on installing a submersible water pump like this one, on the side to make the water spin, or under the plates, to make an upward fountain, in order to shake off the bubbles from the plates.
