Here's what arrived yesterday (Oct. 5) courtesy of the surprisingly fast-hands and sticky fingers (though not this time) of our friends at FedEx. I had to restrain myself from ripping it open long enough to snap a picture.

There they are, 14 Chemalloy bars, nicely wrapped in bubble wrap (which was half the fun, actually :P ). If anyone who knows me personally is reading this, I wouldn't mind a few more of these bubble-wrapped packages around Christmas!

Unwrapped, but still elasticed together. An unexpected surprise awaited me, however. The bars aren't actually round, one side is flat. I'm not complaining, but I didn't expect it. Obviously due to the way they were cast.

Total weight of the bars, just over a pound. Sorry for the bad angle, but it was pretty much the only way of not including a reflection of myself and the camera over the dial, covering the numbers.

14 Chemalloy bars, fan-spread on the paper. "That one's for eletrolysis projects, that one's for an LED flashlight (possibly), that one's to test out the garden applications (in other words, to keep the parents happy), another for electrolysis there, ...."
